Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty pHelps refresh the eye contour, remove excess skin and fat and smooth the skin of the eyelids.
It makes it possible to rejuvenate the look and give it a rested, refreshed look.
Upper blepharoplasty
aims to remove excess skin but often also fat and muscle that weighs down the upper eyelid. It leaves a well camouflaged scar in the natural crease of the eyelid.
Lower blepharoplasty
makes it possible to correct the excess skin if necessary but also to remove the pockets which are a protrusion of the orbital fat through the septum.
It leaves a small scar along the eyelashes, imperceptible after a few weeks.
When there is no excess skin, you can avoid the scar and go through the inside of the eyelid - the conjunctiva - to remove the annoying fat. In this case there is no visible scar. In case of dark circles or sunken eyelids, a lipostructure or lipofilling can be indicated at the same time as the blepharoplasty in order to fill the hollow and restore a nice curve to the eye contour.
intervention
is performed in the theater under local anesthesia or under light sedation for more comfort and lasts between 45min and 2h depending on the size of the operation. It allows you to return home the same day.
Swelling and bruising are visible for 6-10 days. The sutures are removed in the office after 5 to 7 days. The result, visible from the outset, improves over the months.
